Frequently asked questions
View all FAQsHow long does the demo take?
About half an hour. That is enough to walk through the skills library, run a real assessment and look at what a development plan holds, with time left for your questions — and if you want to go deeper on one part, we would rather book a second call than rush the first.
Can you tailor the demo to our organization?
Yes, and the most useful conversation starts with your taxonomy rather than ours. Tell us the roles and skills that matter to you when you book, and we will set the walkthrough up around them, so what you see on the call is your own structure rather than a sample company's.
Who should attend the demo?
Whoever would own it, plus whoever would live in it — usually an HR, People or L&D lead and one manager whose team would actually use it. Bring your hardest question. IT and security do not need to be on the first call; those answers are the same before a demo as after one, and we are happy to send them in writing.
Can we start with a pilot?
Yes, and it is where we recommend starting. A pilot is the full Teams product for one department for ninety days, with your own workspace at yourcompany.pdpquest.com and the skills library already filled in, so nobody starts from a blank taxonomy. Pilots are activated by us and invoiced by hand.
Do we need to prepare anything?
No — turn up and we will drive. The one thing that makes the half hour better is telling us, when you book or in a reply beforehand, which roles and which skills you care about: we build the walkthrough around those instead of a sample company's, and you spend the call looking at your own structure. Nothing needs to be exported, tidied or agreed internally first.
Is there any commitment?
None. Booking a demo commits you to a conversation and nothing else — there is nothing to sign to see the product, no card to enter, and the pilot that usually follows carries no annual commitment either. We use what you tell us on the form to prepare for the call and for nothing else.
